- For you ladies who have been toying with the idea of getting your motorcycle license, I have made a quick list of the steps to take to accomplish this.
- First, pick up a copy of the latest version of the Motorcyle Handbook
- READ the handbook thoroughly
- If you are UNDER 21, you MUST take the driver's course, which can be found by Googling "Motorcycle Training"
- If you are OVER 21, the driver's course is OPTIONAL, but recommended
- Go to DMV, ask for the M1 Permit Test, and be prepared to take half of the Auto (Car) written test AS WELL AS the written M1 license written test
- Practice your skills on a bike WITHIN YOUR LIMITS!! For women, I suggest starting out with a 250 or 500cc bike, such as a 500cc Ninja.
- Take your riding test at DMV WITHIN 1 year, or your permit will expire!
- Begin to research what bikes you personally like: go to the maufacturers' websites, compare models, or go to a local dealer and check out their inventory.
- ENJOY YOUR RIDE!

How To Get Your M1 License!
Alpinestars Mesh Jacket
I have the red one. I own several mesh summer jackets that I can wear all year long, but this is by far the best for the money!
Previous Ride: 2001 Yamaha R6 Champions Edition
The Newest Addition
Ok, so last year in July, I took out an extra student loan and set off to my local dealer to buy my first new vehicle EVER...my 2008 GSXR. Pretty exciting stuff for someone who has never even owned a new car! This was such an upgrade from my then-current ride: a 2001 R6 Champions Edition. I marched into the dealer, cash in hand, and left with a brand-new, just assembled-out-of-the-crate, beautiful 2008 GSXR. Sure is nice knowing mine is the only ass that has been in the seat!
